Crosslinks membership
If you register as a member, you will be entitled to nominate candidates, be a candidate yourself and vote in any elections which Crosslinks holds up to 31st December 2010.
Eligibility
You must complete the Registration form (Download here), and sign both the Declaration and the Statement of Faith at the end. There is no subscription fee in addition to your ordinary support of Crosslinks "by prayer and gifts"
Married Couples
You and your spouse may both register on the one form, but both of you must complete the Registration form, both of you must sign the Declaration and both of you must sign the Statement of Faith on the back.
Voting
In any election, you will be eligible to vote provided your completed Registration Form has been received by Crosslinks three months prior to the date on which ballot papers are sent out. Voting is by postal ballot only.
Membership forms should be received by January of each year to be sure of meeting the deadline to qualify for a vote at our June Annual Meeting of Members
General Secretary Andy Lines writes:
I have discovered as I have travelled to churches and groups in Britain and Ireland, that there are people who think they are Members but are not! Crosslinks is, under God, run by the Annual Meeting of Members, but there are many supporters of BCMS and now Crosslinks who are not members. Non-Members cannot vote by postal ballot to elect our Trustees nor vote at the Annual Meeting of Members. At present we have more than 10,000 on our mailing list but of these only 1,200 or so are Members. Only Members may nominate or become Members of General Council, which decides the policy direction of Crosslinks. In essence membership signifies whole-hearted support of all that Crosslinks stands for; we are a voluntary association of evangelicals committed to making God's word known to God's world. If you share these principles of association why not join us?
